Security - Why online ordering is safe

The museum's order form is hosted on a secure server. Your entire order is automatically encrypted before being transmitted over the Internet via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which is the industry standard for secure Internet transactions.

Laws:

For US customers the Fair Credit Billing Act allows your bank to hold you liable for no more than $50 in fraudulent charges on your credit card. In order to maintain good will, many banks will not hold you liable for any amount. Other countries may have similar laws.

Privacy
All the information in your order is encrypted. The museum never sells, trades or loans any personal information. You will receive an automated emailing confirming that your order has been received. If all goes well, that will be the only email you will receive. Otherwise, you may be contacted via email if there is a problem with your order.
