Having Someone Else Repair It
If you need someone to make repairs for you, you can try:

for repairs on most HPs made in the last 20 years or so. Randy's fees are
very reasonable and he says he has been able to repair 85-90% of the units
sent to him.

Florida at 800-535-5692 repairs HP-41Cs and HP82104A card readers, as well
as chargers and batteries. He also has HP-41s for sale along with software
and peripherals.

Hobby stores such as Tower Hobbies often have extensive catalogs of batteries.
The Museum has not used any these services and can't recommend one over the
