Repairing It Yourself

If you need someone to make repairs for you, you can try:

Randy Sloyer at www.fixthatcalc.com for repairs on most HPs made in the last 20 years or so. Randy's fees are very reasonable and he says he has been able to repair 85-90% of the units sent to him.
Don Orourke at International Calculator in Florida at 800-535-5692 repairs HP-41Cs and HP82104A card readers, as well as chargers and batteries. He also has HP-41s for sale along with software and peripherals.

Batteries Plus. Many U.S. locations including: Arizona at 800-677-8278 and South Dakota at 800-362-9833. Battery pacs are sometimes repaired while you wait. A recent repair of an HP-41C pac cost $12.

Hobby stores such as Tower Hobbies often have extensive catalogs of batteries.

The Museum has not used any these services and can't recommend one over the others.
